Sand City Hurghada

Sand City is one of MSG’s unique investments; the museum is one of the most famous must-seen locations in Hurghada. Sand City considered as the only open air and Sand Sculptures museum in Africa and Middle East. The museum contains 42 sculptures and 17 reliefs by artist from different countries who left a piece of heart and soul in their work.
The project was completed in 7 months and it has two different concepts; the first one is the Historical Art, consists of 22 sculptures and 6 reliefs, representing legends, famous military leaders, characters one of the romances that change the world, and Gods… The second part is Wonderland Art, consists of 20 sculptures and 11 reliefs; Walt Disney animated characters.
The first target which Sand City’s team had to achieve was raising the people awareness about this kind of art; to sell the idea of using sand to embody the human history and different cultures.
Sand City welcomes daily visitors from everywhere of the globe; the museum tells the story of different cultures through each statue the thing that attracts people from different countries.
The statues represent legends, famous military leaders, characters one of the romances that change the world, Gods, Walt Disney animated characters.
It’s an investment in art and culture, a call for artists from everywhere to sign their name on a piece of work which represents famous characters of history.
